Our Story
How we forged our own Genesis
2020 - Beginnings
In the September of 2020, Genesis emerged during a time of unprecedented change. The pandemic was in full swing, and the modelling industry was facing upheaval. Contracts were abruptly terminated, and brands struggled to reach consumers as traditional marketing avenues were hindered. Genesis saw an opportunity in this disruption: to help brands sell their stock while giving models a new platform to showcase their talent.
2021 - Innovation
The Genesis approach was innovative, to bridge the gap between brands and consumers. We found that by working with brands and models who were happy to work from home, we could gain a foothold in a highly competitive market, establishing an initial reputation and brand presence.

By curating a diverse pool of models, we steadily attracted a client base that sought something fresh. The agility of our modelling-at-home approach allowed Genesis to reach a broad audience and gain credibility. In this time, we laid the groundwork for bigger ambitions, focusing on brand partnerships and creating a name that was visible yet aspirational.
2022 - New Heights
As the world began emerging from the pandemic, Genesis recognised the timing was right to move into the high fashion market, one of the most exclusive and challenging sectors to penetrate.

In May 2022, Genesis achieved a major milestone: receiving patronage from the British Fashion Council. This endorsement legitimised our presence in high fashion and positioned Genesis as a serious player on the international stage.

In June, Genesis hosted its first exclusive event at Jeru Mayfair. The event attracted high-profile clients, influencers, and industry insiders, solidifying our reputation and opening doors for future collaborations. This was our first step into the events space, an area we identified as essential for Genesis to maintain a visible, prestigious profile.
2023 - Expansion
Throughout 2023, Genesis continued refining its model roster, bringing in more high-fashion clients and building a reputation that extended beyond just modelling.

The momentum continued to build as Genesis prepared for its inaugural London Fashion Week event in February 2023. Held at White City House, the event was a landmark moment. Hosting an LFW event brought Genesis into the heart of the fashion industry, positioning us alongside established brands and enabling us to showcase our models in one of the world’s most iconic fashion settings.

Genesis continued building a roster of esteemed clients, collaborating with brands that aligned with our high-fashion and exclusive ethos.
2024 - Industry Leaders
Genesis has strengthened its portfolio by working with some of the most prestigious brands in the fashion industry. Key clients include globally recognised names like Harrods, Gucci, AllSaints, Loewe, Nike, Diesel, Flannels, Tommy Hilfiger, and Vogue. These collaborations solidified Genesis’ standing as a go-to agency for premium representation and provided our models with unparalleled exposure.

February 2024 marked another successful LFW event at White City House, a testament to Genesis’ growing influence in the high fashion world. The agency was no longer just a name on the periphery but a trusted participant in these elite circles.
