Genesis Model Management Ltd. - Model Management Terms and Conditions for Booking Models

1. Introduction These terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between Genesis Model Management Ltd., hereinafter referred to as "the Agency," and the client, hereinafter referred to as "the Client," in relation to the booking of models. By engaging in any form of communication or entering into a booking agreement with the Agency, the Client agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.

2. Definitions

  • "Agency": Genesis Model Management Ltd., a modelling agency with VAT registration number 434 6569 73 and company number 12880852, having its registered address at Floor 7, 2 television Centre, White City, W12 7FR.

  • "Client": The individual, company, or organisation engaging in a contract with the Agency for the booking of models.

  • "Model": The individual engaged by the Agency to provide modelling services to the Client.

  • "Booking": The agreement made between the Agency and the Client for the provision of modelling services by the Model.

3. Booking Process

3.1 The Client shall submit a booking request to the Agency, specifying the required details such as the date, time, duration, location, and specific requirements for the booking.

3.2 The Agency will confirm the availability of suitable Models and provide the Client with a quotation for the model fees, which shall be exclusive of any agency fees and Value Added Tax (VAT).

3.3 Upon acceptance of the quotation, the Client shall provide written confirmation of the booking.

3.4 The booking will be considered confirmed once the Agency acknowledges the written confirmation and provides the Client with further details regarding the selected Model(s).

4. Model Fees and Agency Fees

4.1 The Client agrees to pay the Model fees as quoted by the Agency for the agreed duration and services provided.

4.2 The Client acknowledges that agency fees are applicable and will be charged in addition to the quoted Model fees. The agency fees will be clearly communicated to the Client before confirming the booking.

4.3 All quoted prices for Model fees are exclusive of VAT charges. VAT will be charged in accordance with the prevailing tax regulations at the applicable rate at the time of invoicing.

5. Payment Terms

​

5.1 The Client shall make all payments due to the Agency in accordance with the payment terms submitted on our invoice. Payment terms where payment is due following the completion of the assignment needs to be agreed by both the agency and the client in writing. In the instance that this is not discussed, then payments are due upon completion of all assignments.

5.2 Terms stated on invoices without prior agreement will either be 7, 14 or 30 day terms.

5.2 Payment for the Model fees, agency fees, and any applicable VAT charges shall be made by the Client within the timeframe specified in the invoice issued by the Agency.

5.3 Late payments may be subject to additional charges, including but not limited to interest and administrative fees. This is called ‘Statutory Interest’ and is charged at 8% of the invoice total plus the Bank of England base rate. Admin fees on debt recovery are as follows: £40 on invoices up to £999, £70 on invoices between £1,000 and £9,999, and £100 on invoices over £10,000. This is applied when credit control need to chase for an invoice.

6. Cancellations and Amendments

​

6.1 The Client may request amendments to a confirmed booking subject to the Agency's approval. Amendments may incur additional charges, which will be communicated to the Client in advance.

6.2 In the event of a cancellation by the Client, the following cancellation fees will apply:

  • Cancellation received within 24 hours of the booking start time: 100% of the quoted Model fees.

  • Cancellation received between 24 and 48 hours of the booking start time: 50% of the quoted Model fees.

  • Cancellation received more than 48 hours prior to the booking start time: No cancellation fee, but any non-refundable expenses incurred by the Agency will be charged to the Client. 6.3 The Agency reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond its control. In such cases, the Agency will make reasonable efforts to provide a suitable replacement Model or refund any pre-paid fees
